If you had been paying attention, you would know that the iMac/iBook lines will be done first and the PowerMac line last. Steve even said as much when he made the big Intel announcement.

Steve never said this, as far as i'm aware it is a widely perpetuated myth!

Well I am looking forward to how they can improve them.

I would like a small external (OLED?) screen that could show .Cal alarms, time, date, battery strength, maybe wifi signal scanning, etc all whilst the lid closed at the push of a button...

my hunch is that intel powerbooks will be revealed at MWSF '06.

my other hunch is that they will still be metal, but will be a darker, gunmetal grey color.

* note: both of these hunches are based on absolutely no insider info at all...just my guesses!
And these hunches are worth exactly what was paid for them. Nothing. Now if you had said MWSF 07 for PorwerBooks, that might be a bit more accurate, but then again, that's my guess.

This friend was making fun of my powerbook's 12" screen by saying "hey, I can actually read whats on my screen". He had one of those HPs laptops with the truebright so I said "well at least when I look at my screen I see my computer, not a reflection of me"

Those annoying LCDs should be made for people that like to look at themselves a lot. :p

well anyway I'm going to wait until wednesday and see if anything tempting comes up... any idea what time it'll show? (i'm on the east coast, NYC time)

besides for that, Im still undecided. I can customize my HP to not have trubrite, actually, if its really that annoying.

TRUBRITE

I doubt you'll see anything truly earth shattering as far as new designs go. I'd be more interested in having a powerful PowerBook, maybe with features like TruBrite.

Us in the world of print work and colour matching are very scared of the truebrite tech, it changes the colour spectrum radically. I think apple will stick with the creatives demands on this.
