New Yorkers, is there good chance to get iPhone5 if line up Thurs night at 5th ave?

This is for those with experience at NYC 5th Ave Apple Store. I know a small line already started there, but how good of a chance do you "think" I have if I line up there tomorrow night around 1130PM to get the iPhone 5 at launch Friday morning? Thanks! :)

Unless the scalpers from China/Hong Kong are planning on paying people to wait in line again, you should be fine. Last year I got to the store in Soho around 5:30am and was fine.
 
Would you think 5am Fri in Chelsea or Soho is better, of 1130PM at 5th Ave better for my odds of scoring a 32GB White iPhone?
 
I'm gonna guess 5th Ave is the worst chance. While they may have more stock, the line is gonna be longer.
 
5th Avenue is always a zoo no matter when I go there. Try Grand Central or the Upper West Side. While the lines will be long, they will be longer at 5th Avenue because of all the tourists, scalpers, news crews, etc.

Millions already have an I4s. Not sure what percent of those need the latest and greatest.

Million+ have already ordered a preorder. Not sure how many are from NY.

Inventory is?

Who knows...not even Tim Cook.

The phone will be readily available in a few weeks.

What's the reason you're here lookin at iPhone forums for? Probably the same reason he's here, bc he enjoys his iPhone and is excited for a newer better product.
Leave him alone. And itll be "somewhat readily" available Friday, which is why he asked.
 
I was planning on going to the Verizon store at 42nd st. at 530am but maybe I'll go to the apple store in UWS instead. My friend works at the one in UWS and he says he doesn't have a clue how many they have but that he'll keep me posted about the line throughout the day tomorrow.

The train stops pretty close to the Westchester Apple Store, so you could easily get there to wait. The Greenwhich Apple Store seems to be better for waiting outside since it isn't in a mall, but it's a bit of a walk from the train station.
