I am a windows user but made a decision to switch to Mac after using my iPhone and iPad over the last couple of years. And I am planning to get a MBA 13/256:D and an Apple TV as my new Mac toys. So my questions here is, is it possible to stream videos from MBA to my HDTV using AppleTV/AirPlay?

As of now I connect my iPad to the TV using the HDMI cable to watch the YouTube and other videos. But once I have the AppleTV, I am planning to use that to stream my YouTube videos to the HDTV using Airplay. Would it be possible to do the same from MBA? There is a reason to this as some of the videos I watch on YouTube are not playable from the mobile devices.

That's great. If mirroring works from MBA to my TV via AppleTV, that's all I need to get my mac toys.
