I have a new MBP with OSX 10.6 and Parallels desktop 4.0 with the latest build. The problem I am having is every time I try and install windows xp I get an error saying "No boot device available"

I went into the console and made sure the cd drive is first but no luck, I know the copy of xp is bootable because I was able to install it OK with Bootcamp

Thanks

Kevin

I just got the same result using Windows 7 on an imac with Parallels trying to use the bootcamp partition. Interestingly enough it actually worked about 3 times before this happened. But it was slow as molass and felt kind of 'wrong'.
I have used VMWare and parallels desktop on much older macs that felt snappier.
