I've ordered my first mac in order to make the switch from pc. repeatedly refreshing my order page like everyone else it seems.
i'm intending to create a bootcamp partition for windows mainly for games and a few other bits.
my question is what version of windows to get. my current and rather knackered pc runs vista.
1) should i go straight for 8?
2) or 7, which version and does oem make a difference
3) where's probably cheaper to get it?
4) might be getting parrellels as well. am i right in thinking this can utilise same installation as boot camp. ie if i ned to quickly pop on to windows to check something i can do it through that rather then reboot.
ordered the spec'd 27".
