Newbie question. I am planning to buy an iPhone a new one comes out in June. Does the 3.0 firmware has data transfer via bt? Also does the iPhone have playlist as alarm clocks? Can I use my mp3 as ringtone without any conversion? Do not plan on jail breaking the phone. Going to buy factory unlocked. Thanks in advance.

Pretty much a summary of all your questions: No.

No transfer via Bluetooth, no songs can be used as an alarm clock and you'd need to convert the mp3 to a ringtone as well (free on Macs using Garageband). You might be able to find an Alarm Clock app in the App Store however. 🙂
