iPod touch newbie with problems

heyy 🙂
so i got my ipod touch yesterday and downloaded itunes and everything..
ok so i connect my ipod to sync it and itunes shuts down...its getting me all frustrated!!!! it says something like that it encountered a problem and that it needed to shut down! 😕😕

can somebody please help me or show me how i can fix this issue..
oh and sorry if this has been posted before but grr im just frustrated😡

more problems

ok so earlier i had posted about the itunes shutting down and i cant fix the issue because my ipod doesnt come out like in the drivers and stuff...like when you press computer nothing mentioning ipod shows up and ive already done the device manager thing so ughhh can anyone please help me?

1. Launch iTunes
2. Select “Deauthorize Computer” from the Store menu
3. Enter your iTunes Store Account ID and Password, then click the Deauthorize button
4. Next, choose “Authorize Computer” from the Store menu
5. Enter your iTunes Store Account ID and Password, then click the Authorize button

See if that fixes it.

You could also try a different USB port or use a different computer.

Or try reinstalling iTunes.

i already figured out how to add my music to my itouch without it syncing so my problem is pretty much solved 😎

Yeah, but don't you want to take advantage of more things syncing than music- it is an iPod touch and can do so much more.

What kind of computer are you connnecting to?

What version of iTunes?

Have you restarted the computer since installing iTunes?

What version of software is installed on the iPod Touch?

Which generation of iPod Touch do you have....1st generation has no side buttons, 2G and 3G does.

Have you tried using another usb port? Have you shut down and restarted the iPod Touch?

Be specific and you will get better results on your problems. Syncing works fine for probably 99% and you may have a simple fix but until we know more we can't help you.
