Newer iPhone Blutooth HeadSet

Ive asked around the Apple site and still no answer about my problem.
When I have the headset on I can make calls and the it works fine.
However when people call me it defaults to the phone itself.
This is insane when your driving.
It takes two sometimes three moves to get to the damn option to use the Blu.
Anyone else notice this?
I got this back in August.

How are you answering the calls? You need to push the button on the blue tooth to answer the call. If you answer by swiping on your phone its going to default to the phone.

Otherwise, something is definitely wrong, Ive never had this problem ever.

Yes exactly! When I do (click on the BT button) it hangs up on the caller 🙁
