Does anyone have one of these, I am seriously looking into one for my Wife's Mac Mini for Time Machine.

Any info on it would be great, but I am looking at the following:

Easy of installing a HD
Quietness?
overall performance with FW800?
Where to buy it from OWC has just the chassis for $109.00

I use the have the v2 one that had FW800 and e-sata. I thought it was a great little unit. It was fairly quiet and just as fast as my WD 1TB Studio Drive. I eventually sold it since I got rid of my mac mini. Having the extra USB ports was plus as well.

My experience with the MiniStack: not overly quiet, looked and felt cheap. I owned two: one has been relegated to my wife, the other to my mother-in-law. Because I'm worth it. 😉
