I'm looking at usb display adapters to add a third monitor to my MBP setup. Both OWC and Newertech both state that they are not opengl compatible so programs such as Keynote, iPhoto Slideshows and iMovie will not work. Is quicktime effected by this as well. I'm wanting to hook up my LCD TV and use this to watch movies on it.

Thanks

QuickTime will be affected. Video performance will be poor, at best. If you purchase this device, best to use it for simple text/pdf/image stuff, and run your LCD TV off your internal graphics card instead.
