Newest update and overheating

I have a 7 plus and since installing the newest update yesterday my phone will get extremely hot even when on the lock screen and kill the battery very quickly. Anybody seen this?

My battery usage in settings doesn't look out of the ordinary.

Sounds like a rogue app or system process. Have you tried powering off the phone for a few minutes?
