Newly Activated iP4: texting doesn't work

Just got my iPhone 4 this afternoon and I love it...everything is working well except that I am not sending or receiving texts. The phone SAYS they sent (no error message or anything) but no one is getting them. I tried to send myself one from a different phone and I didn't receive it either.

I activated around 1:30 this afternoon...is this something that will fix itself with time or is there a way to get this working again?

Did U ported the number from another provider?, if yes wait a litter longer and try again if not you should call AT&T.

Nah, this was an upgrade from another phone.

Some delay is perfectly normal when porting numbers but not when upgrading. Call AT&T.

Called and my messaging plan didn't transfer correctly from my old BB Bold, so once it was switched to the iPhone messaging plan all has been well.
