NewMacpro & Apple superdrive problem

Hi,

nMacpro 2013

I would like to plug my 2 Apple Superdrives to one of my docks (OWC Dock2 or TripLite superspeed USB3)
Both docks have high powered usb slots but when I do I get a warning saying there is not enough power.

Has anyone been confronted with this problem ?

If they are not self-powered then there might be your problem.

Also USB 3 slots do not always play nice with USB 2 devices.
