Suddenly my news app is completely dead on iPad Air, worked just fine but now every time I open it it crashes after just a second. When I first updated I could add al the sources with no problem at all.
On my iPhone 6 the news app works but in the for you tab it only shows me news from the sources that came as default (NYT, CNN, ESPN etc.) But i've subscribed to many sources and those do not appear.

Anyone else having these problems?

It's working fine on my iPhone 6. Now I just have to figure out how to get my paper's information on there.

OP, same here. Works fine on my 6 Plus but stuck in the splash screen on iPad Air 2 saying to try again later.

Happens to me. I sent feedback.

News App Works fine on iPhone 6, but crashes while loading on iPad Air 2 with dev beta 3. Haven't found fix yet.

The News App on my iPad Air 2 appears to be working flawlessly so far, even updating the "For You" tab instantaneously while adding new sources. However, I am experiencing the same issues you're having on your iPhone 6 on my iPhone 6 Plus as well. In the "For You" tab, it only shows me news from the default news sources upon initially launching the app. Refreshing the feed ends up spinning the update wheel indefinitely. Force closing and re-launching, and turning off and back on sync in iCloud settings do not appear to rectify the issue either.

Yeah, digging deeper, if I browse news sources directly, the feed updates fine, but my For You tab is stuck with the same initial stories it populated last night.

Is it possible for specific news channels to cause general News.app instability?

When I was running News with the default subscriptions then things were fine. But once I started adding my own choices (not more than 10) then I couldn't get into an article without crashing.

It sort of works for me but won't refresh - just spins and then freezes. And the articles it selects for me seem kind of random.

My news app does not refresh the news stories after the initial batch that it retrieved. I submitted appropriate feedback. iPhone 5S here.

Mine just started working again. And it's working better than it has when it was working before. Looks like some server maintenance.

And mine began functioning well this evening. Got to thinking that I had not tried loading News.app while in landscape orientation. Did load the app and success finally. Useable. Haven't a clue that landscape was the workaround, but the app now functions on my iPad Air 2.

Mine got stuck and now crashes upon launch every time. Happened after I launched a story from Siri recommendations. Hasn't worked since.

On my iPhone 6+ News seems to be working fine, but on my iPad mini 2 if I select a Channel it works okay but if I select a source it crashes every time. Have reported it by Feedback.
