Like said above we dont know what or how yet.
Maybe you'll need 4.1 or maybe those 4.2.1 beta3 shsh's cydia saved for us will come into play to untether our devices.

got "backup plan" for untethered 4.2.1 jb working (video coming up). Uses mysterious 4.2b3 hashes cydia kept for you

Cool, I ma glad that his latest work is working better now, last time i was in the IRC it wasn't too promising.

Dev team just released a Video using the 4.2b3 kernel and it allow to use the old exploit to make the JB untethered, A bit more extensive than Comex workaround but a JB nonetheless (I am making my way to the limited underground access i got to see if i can get my hand on that one)
