News on Sony a7000?

Anyone know anything new? I got a deal on an a6000 with 50mm lens, but not sure if it will be a deal if the a7000 comes out soon. Since nothing was announced at CES Im curious if anyone knows anything, or is it all a rumor and I should just keep the a6000?

I dont know anything about the a7000 or its release. I would say though that the a6000 is a cracking camera and if you got a deal, then enjoy it. It is relatively well proven now and so IMHO, I would be happy with the savings you have made and maybe look to upgrade on the next cycle. Also try not to google a7000 or anything... 🙂

I hear you brother.... I have an A7 and the MKII looks very tempting... It hurts so bad to resist...

Oh yes! That game is not fun. I so so want to be one of these guys who has a trusty bit if kit that I know back to front but I am too easily swayed by blinking lights and feature functions...

Must learn to use what I have got first... I did a test when I got my A7, I took pictures with that and my Canon 70d I bought 2 months previous... And yep, crap photos from both of them... So until I can upgrade my eyes, my creative vision and my jittery hands, no point buying yet another camera...

Plus every new box arriving at home risks my wife realising what I am buying...

Someone on here made a great comment once "I worry about dying, I worry about my wife selling my lenses for what I TOLD her i spent on them and opposed to what I ACTUALLY spent on them!"
