    Hi there,

My name is Jason and I am part of News360. If you haven't checked us out before, I would recommend you give us a shot if you're interested in a news aggregation and personalization app.

We're looking to start beta testing for our the latest build on the iPad in the coming days and are proactively looking for both current users who use News360 regularly and new users who have never opened the app before to be testers.

If you are interested, please fill out the short sign-up form here and make sure to mark iPad as at least one of your devices. If you're a new user and the questions don't apply, just state so in the boxes.

Essentially, we're looking for users who will proactively share feedback with us and enjoying playing around with new app features. Please keep in mind that we have a limited number of spots for TestFlight. Because of this, we ask that you sign-up only if you can commit to participating as a beta tester. Aside from using the builds, our beta testing includes answering questions and rating certain features--not something we plan to do often, but would like all our beta testers to complete occasionally.

If you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail me at I promise you'll enjoy checking out some of the new features we have! :)

Did I mention we'll have a reward for all testers at the ending of the beta testing period?

I downloaded News360 to check it out, and.....guess what; I don't have a Google, Teiteer or Facebook account. Why do you want my email, and how does that allow me to customize my news?

    Just curious.

    Hi Tom,

When we ask to access your social media services, we don't store your information or post through your account--what we do is take a look at your "likes," posts, shares, and comments to create a set of suggested personalized categories for you. Once they have been created, you can tweak them further by adding or removing additional topics or subjects.

No worries if you don't use any of those services, however. You can manually create these personalized categories through News360. The social media access is there to just make things easier (and significantly quicker) for you.

Take a look at the following blog post to understand the concept a bit more:
A Guide to News360: Adding Topics (Super Bowl Style)

As for your e-mail, we ask for it when you don't connect through a social media service to create your account. This is important because once you personalize News360 for yourself, you can literally access it from any device our app is available on and continue reading your personalized news, access saved stories, etc. We don't tend to send out many e-mails and of course we don't share your information.

    Hope that helps a bit!
