Next 3G iphone

Ok, I was hoping Apple will announce a new 3g iphone. They did not. I want to upgrade to 3G now that we have 3G in my area.

Any idea when the next version is coming out? I don't want to buy one an then have it updated 60 days later.

Well, seeing as how the first iPhone was released in the summer of 2007, the 3G was released in summer of 2008... I think we will see one this summer. 🙄
