Lets hope that Apple see sense and use the Sata II interface - then users can install these themselves.

It would be good, as higher (if we need them lol) capacity drives come out we will not be chained to Apple !

the pdf link warning cracks me up, how hard could it be for someone to make a pdf reader that works as fast as preview on a mac, even on my 2.8GHz athlon it takes a good few seconds to open adobe reader.

I would like to see this drive in the new Xserve Raids... 10.5TB that would be nice.
