do you guys think apple will be adding any new features to the ipod classic next time they do upgrades?

its about mid product cycle right now, and i would like to buy a new one, but if theyre gonna make some large improvements soon, id rather just hold off.

just wonderin what you guys think.

If they want to be competitive they should. The Nano is stuck at 8gb and then gave it video. All the more reason to update the Nano to 16gb(Apple won't do 32gb yet not worth it for them yet) and quite possible add a new color to the list.

I am more interested in the Touch. The classic is nice but the only thing they could add to make it better is a slightly more refined UI, and the current one isn't that bad. The Touch has just about everything anyone would want in a new iPod except for the space. Hoping the Rev 2 Touch gets that 32GB flash drive or larger, and better speed and music/video playback.

As of now, I see the Touch replacing the Classic entirely in about a year and a half, once Apple can get about 120GB and a super fast super responsive UI in the case.
