Next rMBP speed bump predictions?

Has anyone noticed when and how much speed bump the MBPs get mid-cycle?

I am wondering if by April Apple will update to handle 4k @60hz that is not compatible with the late 2013 models.


any idea what type of boosts were carried out in prior years and when?

I don't think we'll see any mid-cycle speed bump. They did last year because I think intel improved the chipsets slightly.

That's purely a software limitation. A late 2013 rMBP can handle 4k @60hz. If you use Windows. 😡
