Hesitated during this most recent Labor Day sale. When might it repeat, perhaps with even better pricing. Before or after the M4 release?

Probably won’t happen to the degree BestBuy offered. Amazon might offer sales but, I doubt it would be $1,000 off.

Not sure what model you are looking at but was just at Costco tonight. Our local store had the M3 Pro MBP 18/512 for $1499, which is the same price Best Buy had over the weekend

They've been running sales on and off for months trying to clear inventory out for the end of the year. Right now they're still doing back to school on amazon, so I would just hunt around a bit you will find a deal. There's also Black Friday which is more or less around the corner at this point but they usually just do gift cards at apple and maybe $100-200 off I think.
