Next Year's iPhone: 9,11, 8S,10S?

So they released the 8 and 10 today. 10 being the 10th anniversary. What will next year's iPhone be named?

I hope so but we Might have to wait for that design until 2019 for lg oled panels. Samsung are holding Apple to ransom on display prices. I think that's a big reason for the big price of the X.

Apple has said that the X will be what they think future design of phones would be, so I'm guessing we will see the X design trickled down to the regular iPhone price points (and hopefully with touchID integrated to the screen).

Touch ID will not be integrated into the display and that's been confirmed by Craig Federighi. He stated that touch ID was a consideration, but once Face ID became a reality and they had it properly working, they Abandoned touch ID under the display all together. Face ID is Apple's vision for the future.

IF. The iPhone X is not even shipping yet to the masses.

Remember the 3rd Gen iPod shuffle? Steve Jobs brought back the buttons on the 4th Gen, citing that people want both buttons and voice control. I can see Apple next year saying how FaceID is awesome but people like touchID and bam, we bring both to you (questions long claps and cheers)

iPhone 9 will be the penultimate version of the original form factor as they bump the line down and slowly start weaning people off the home button. iPhone X starts a new series. Either Xs, or 11 or simply 2018 iPhone and iPhone plus and make the old version iPhone classic.
