They probably won't call it a Nexus considering the commercial failure.
Is that a mock-up?
How do you use the keyboard if you're holding the phone vertically
If this is the Motorola phone that they're going to call the Nexus Two then it's hideous.
The N1 is a beautiful piece of hardware. This looks like an even worse Droid.
Why do manufacturers insist on putting the direction pad on the left side? What about gaming??
Gaming on a phone is just to pass time. The controls will always be hideous so it doesn't really matter.
And that pesky trademark issue of the Nexus One...
Its on the right :S
Its a fake, somebodies cell phone wet dream that's all.
I do not see google releasing a nexus two, so soon after releasing the nexus one and needing to get their act together to sell and support the phone.
Right now you may have to call three companies to get support, google, htc, and your carrier and even then afaik, you cannot call google but email them. They need to hammer out a better support model before further releasing new phones.
This is actually called the Motorola Shadow and here is a link to the full specs
why do they insist on making awful keyboards that slide out? (droid, this) i can type 63wpm on a touchscreen keyboard, i dont need a physical keyboard.
Perhaps because most people cannot type 63wpm like you and prefer a physical keyboard.
I can't wait for the Nexus 10 coming in August. By the time we hit December, and the Nexus 19 is released, it should be dominating everything.
Wow @ those specs. The design is really well done. I love Google.
Haha, I was wondering how long it would take for someone to say something!
the last line might as well be "and...it can fly."
I haven't kept up with all the new models, but...
Do Android users consider the HTC Incredible to be just a variation of the Nexus?
Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 2.1-update1; en-gb; Nexus One Build/ERE27) AppleWebKit/530.17 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/530.17)
Isn't it the Incredible that uses a slightly underclocked Snapdragon and an 8mp camera?
The only phone I really would consider to be the same the Nexus hardware wise is the HTC Desire. Upgraded cam and downclocked CPU aside, they could be considered similar.
Does that make sense?
looks cool...would love to have these specs in the next one.
this cant be real 8mpx camera with flash and 1080p full video recording???
I dont even think the new generation iphone will even come close to this!
I like it except for that flash sticking out on the bottom.
Not sure I'd ever use the keyboard either.
That thing actually looks pretty sweet. Apple hopefully has something amazing up their sleeve to compete with that.
I doubt it considering the nexus has been such a failure thus far.
I think the failure has more to do with the way they are trying to sell the phone and less about the phone itself. Everyone knows android has a lot to offer, and this is the best android phone so far, so I don't see it as a failure on the phones part, somebody just dropped the ball along the way.
