What a basic response. Not every business seeking profit is toxic. Niantic along with plenty of other companies across the board were shady with how quickly they switched to pay only and raised prices during this Pandemic. You must have not played the game for the first two years from launch. Giving users the option to spend money, that’s on the user. Actually charging money for “event exclusive” Pokémon and content is ridiculous. Paywalls are toxic.

Imagine if activision allowed 1 free round of CoD per day and each round after that was 1 dollar, a piece. Niantic are toxic and that’s impossible to deny.
As someone who has played video games from the early 90s up to now, I can say that niantic are the worst gaming company ever. They botch every single release of anything they release. As you said, they have even created new streams of revenue based on the pandemic. They are a predatory company through and through.
They don’t reveal any loot odds for anything in the game, based on a technicality. The list goes on for why this company is trash. But yeah, they are rich.

Okay? I don’t understand the want or need to pay for any of that. I had played it everyday since launch up until winter of 2020, never gave Niantic a dime of my own money. It got ridiculous when they started charging for events to get “event exclusive” Pokémon.

Almost like the game imitating life imitating the actual original cartoon series. Then again at least you’re not paying a monthly service fee on top of your Internet service fee in order to play the game which is what we have now on the consuls think about that you’re paying a monthly fee for Internet service provider then you’re paying to buy the game and then you’re paying to play the game multiplayer mode for other players that are also doing the exact same multiples as you are paying paying paying bit ridiculous

Pokémon go was good in its first year or two. However this will just be another cash grab for Niantic.
