I'm not real protective of Apple, I'm merely saying that a customer, a paying customer, has a right to have a great in-store experience. The actions of the OP screws with that experience. Apple or not, it is unfair and completely selfish. And I called him a child because he is a child. Regardless of what he has done, he is at the age of a child.

As for locking the thread, threads like this go nowhere fast. Engaging as it may be to screw around and I've been party to such antics in recent times, locking the thread prevents any further debate on how incredibly awesome we're supposed to tell the OP he is because if we do not then we somehow lack common sense and a sense of humor.

I have refrained from giving my 2¢ in this thread several times

I will hold my tongue and just say add my voice to those disapproving of the OPs actions

Reasons should be painfully obvious

Is it just me or do a lot of people seem to dislike PowerFullMac's topics.

Not saying that I don't like them. I think Rickrolling a customer would be kind of funny. Only once, though.

How juvenile

Did it ever occur to you that that's going to piss off the next person who uses it, and maybe keep them from buying a computer. You've inadvertently cost Apple $2000. Its not like they restart the computers ever 2 minutes...

If being Rick Roll'd while wondering what those actual buttons do instead of grabbing a support person stops you from buying a Mac, then god forbid you are ever on the internet astray from google, and apple's news page.

Seriously guys its a harmless joke, it's probably fix by a apple store associate already. and Just to say I've been in an apple store countless times, and not once have I used those buttons, If you don't make an appointment before you go to an apple store before hand you will be surely disappointed, more so than ANY Rick Roll ever.

I'm a paying customer, I have spent thousends on Apple products in the past few years, if I want to have a nice bit of harmless fun at their stores and can be fixed after a simple reboot then why the hell can't I?

It may be a bit childish but many agree it's funny and I only done this on 2 Macs (coz I Rick Rolled the second) out of like 25 in the store, so just chill!

<bites tongue instead of saying what really needs to be said here>

Your behavior in this instance is boorish and immature... period
Attempting to defend said behavior makes you look foolish

The fact that some others cheer you on does not change that fact
