Just picked up this snugg iPhone 5c pouch in distressed brown leather for around 20 bucks. It has an elastic strap that also has a magnet on the logo that you pull on in the back and I thought I'd post my thoughts here. I really like pouches as they allow me to use my phone without a case while still protecting it in my pocket and also providing a place to set the phone on many surfaces. The elastic strap feels nice and easy to pull on and also incorporates a magnet to keep it sitting flush with the back of the pouch. The inside is a microfiber and I don't feel like it's going to scratch my 5c. I would for sure recommend this case to anyone looking for a pouch.

Ps. It has a lifetime warranty incase the strap fails.

thanks, I actually searched here to see if I could find some thoughts on this but I couldn't find any threads about it or even any mentions in threads so I figured I'd share my opinions with anyone else that may be thinking about getting something similar to this.

This is the sleeve I currently have and use it in pretty much the exact same way you do. I use my phone naked, but when I have to lay it down in my car or on a hard surface I throw in in here.

I used to use cases all the time but I'd rip it off the phone on almost a daily basis because I'd like to admire the beauty of my phone. Sleeves are a great compromise in my opinion

Likewise. I hate cases, but a sleeve works great when I need protection.

...ahh man!! I've been trying to get a hold of that Belroy wallet in Blue Steel, from Amazon, here in the UK, however they have all of the colours available apart from the Blue Steel one!!!

That is an awsome wallet....!!!!

....I spotted that one on Amazon, here in the UK too - looks like an awsome pouch/sleeve.

I have an SGP Neo Hybrid Ex bumper on my iPhone 5 - do you think it would still fit inside that sleeve?

It looks fantastic in person. I would suggest keeping it in a front pocket b.c of how thin it is. If you sit on the wallet your cards will start to bend.

Sitting on the fence with this one at the moment.

I love the look, love the idea of protection front and back, love the card holder for my work I'd and being able to hold my phone to the card reader. I'm never without my phone so would make sense but all that puts me off is the operation of the phone naked. Ie taking pictures and being careful when holding it so it doesn't fall out of my hands etc. the 5c can be a little slippery naked!

Currently own a spigen tough armour, case mate tough naked and a £3 frosted TPU case from you save accessories.

Just pulled the trigger - only $9.99 on Amazon. Looks nice and for that price I figured, 'why not'!

I just did too! What colour you go for? I've got a blue IP5c and the only two at £9.99 were suede or grey. Figured the grey would go better with the blue phone!

Hope I don't get paranoid about dropping it! Lol

I grabbed the brown at 9.99.

I have a green 5C and though about the yellow (I'm a Baylor grad) but it was just too bright for me.

Safe option with the brown I think! I nearly went with green when I upgraded. Very close decision!

I'm glad you guys enjoy the idea as much as I did. Ive been using mine since the OP and its been great. exactly what I need protection wise and using my phone is much more of a joy now. I think it probably has something to do with my fingers being able to glide off of the edges of the phone. I'm satisfied for sure! Seems to be holding up good as well. I feel pretty good about the lifetime warranty too.

Going to order one of these for my 5S. Perfect combo for my ID/debit card and my phone.

Make SURE you order the one specifically for the 5s. I tried my sleeve out with my brothers iPhone 5 and it slid right out when i turned it upside down even though the thickness difference between the 5 and 5c is minuscule.

Yeah lifetime warranty one other thing that swayed it apart from the ability to put my uni card in. The times I've had to lurk outside for someone to arrive to work and let me in! I'm so early every day reception isn't open for over an hour lol!
I never go to work with out my phone so just makes sense.

Like I said I'm just going to be over cautious handling the phone neked!

Thing is loads of people don't bother with a case when using the phone, the amount of people I see that just don't need one. I think I'm being over paranoid and having the snugg case will increase protection regardless. Just gotta glue it to my hand when taking pictures etc.

Just make sure you get into a habit of putting the phone on the sleeve when you take it out of the sleeve and then the only risk you take is dropping it when handling

Received case yesterday to my surprise, given that I only ordered on Friday! Case is superb and phone fits perfectly. Going to give it a few days to settle in but really impressed, pictures don't really do it justice. My card fits in the front as well so that was the main reason to purchase this snugg case :)
