As usual, this version of Mac OS X is faster than the last one. Running it on a Macbook core duo 2.0ghz, and it's perceptibly faster than 10.4.10. It feels like the UI is maybe 15-20% faster, which is a huge speed improvement.

Translucent menu bar is kind of distracting - wish I could turn it off. Oh well. Nice that they now have a built-in VNC client!

Put a white stripe 23 (iirc, possibly 22) pixels tall on your desktop picture at the top.
