    Well, I meant for those times when your not near wifi and are sore for lack of 3G.

    I know what you meant but I am just making a point that most wifi users such as myself are always going to be able to be in a wifi hotspot. For those rare occasions that somebody might not be, I guess this app might be good for them? I dunno... 5 gigs is a big chunk of that iPad space :eek:

    It might be perfectly legal, but somehow I find charging $10 for publicly available information to be a bit sleazy.

    Those wallpaper apps really get my goat. They harvest the web for (often copyrighted) images and sell them, and the original artists don't get a dime.

    I actually like Wikipanion for the Wifi solution.

    The $10 are ok, but paying $1 for each update is a rip-off, IMHO.
    Guess/hope there will be competition soon.
