I recently installed Nicecast. I am having troubles getting the server to work with my Linksys router though. People cannot listen to it and everytime I tell it to check the server, it says it has failed. Is there some way to work around the router? Please help me.

You need to go to the admin panel on your router. typically it's 192.168.1.1. loging with your admin password. You should have something like port fowarding/port triggering option on one of your tabs/pages.
Use ports 8000 to 8100 these are default ports supplied by nicecast.
Once this has been done test the server (check) and it should say connection succesful to the nicecast server.

Something like this...

I did everything you told me to do above and it's still not working... :( .
