Nickname On Messages Problem

So, I have nicknames for some contacts, I turned off the prefer nicknames in the contacts section. Now it still does it but only when I'm inside the message thread. Ideas to fix this guys? Running iOS 7 beta 4 on iPhone 4s.

same here. running Beta 4 on iPhone 5.

i remember it was able to turn off in Beta 3. but now, the nickname is forever there.
