Think more often than not the pro has the best night mode out but depends on the shot I guess

It is such a relief that Apple didn't bury its head in the sand on this one.
Night sight was a genuine innovation and it is good to see Apple implement its own version

In the tests I’ve seen so far, the samsung’s look brighter, but the iphone night mode looks more natural & retains much more detail. Pretty impressive.

that’s what a lot of the reviewers who are conspiring them are saying

Nice improvement on the night capability but not a fan of hepatitis yellow skin tone and night sky.

So glad they kept Night Mode more natural to the what the actual eye sees. I used to be blown away by the Pixel’s night mode but these early comparisons make it appear to overcompensate on exposure.

Agreed

Although I will collect a Pro Max tomorrow, I think nightsight looked better in this comparison. Similar to Samsung, the iPhone appears to over brighten the shot.

What? The pixel is way more artificial and less night more day looking.

Which source are you referring to? Looking at the video thumbnail or 6:24 in video in OP, Google Night Sight captures the mood better while Apple Night Mode makes it look like she's sitting under a spotlight against a yellowish uneven (lens flare?) night sky that distracts from the subject.
