I've been using the night stand mode for the last month. The display goes away away after a few seconds and reappears when i tough it. Two nights ago the display was on for the whole night. I can only attribute this to setting the alarm on. i was surprised i never known about this feature. Last night i set another alarm, but the simply did NOT stay on. What gives? Make no sense that you should not have the option to keep the display on for as long as you want.

The Watch doesn't stay on continuously, alarm or no. If it did stay on one night for you, then it was having some sort of glitch or bug.

As for the 'option', there's nothing any of us can do about that; it's been discussed to death in similar thread. As of now, they don't offer it - there may be very good (hardware) reasons for that.

DK, But i know for a fact it was on all night. Even my wife commented on it.

When you're in the night stand mode and you have set an alarm, the display will be on some time before your alarm goes off. That's a feature, by design.

Note: you don't have to touch the Watch to wake it up... even the smallest vibration will cause the screen to come on.

I think it's awesome. Leaves my room pitch black for sleeping but all I need to do is push the nightstand/touch the box the watch is sitting in and I can get the time. Works perfectly here.
