Nightstand Mode in watchOS2 Will Change Stand Design

    Assuming that Apple Watch stand designers will now have to develop designs to allow for the horizontal placement of the watch (and band) on the stand. Should be interesting.

    Several stands already hold the watch horizontally.

    ...and not everyone will want to use their watch as an alarm clock in that fashion.

    I'm sure someone at Apple thought (how cool) when they did it, but *yawn*

    I was merely making an observation and not trying to open a debate on whether or not Nightstand Mode is a useful enhancement.

    And then watchOS2.01 will come out and they'll offer Nightstand mode for both orientations.
