Nike+ GPS Accuracy?

Hi guys

Does any one have any idea how accurate the Nike+ GPS accuracy is on an iPod Touch 3rd gen?

I have trouble getting the same distance the app tells me and by looking at a map

Anyone have any thoughts on this?
