Nike + iPod does not work with iPhone 3G

What gives?

I don't have an iPhone 3GS but the regular 3G. This Nike sensor should work with iPhone 3G but isn't compatible out of the box.

Any suggestions.

I agree and its free. As for your problem its not compatable with 3g according to this

Thank you everyone. I missed the facts on the Apple webpage. No biggie. I'm going to pick up a Nano next month.

I'm also holding out for the next iPhone in June 2010.
