Can anyone using the Nike Run Club Watch app (without their phone) who listens to music through the watch at the same time tell me if the Nike app can be paused by pausing the music through your headphone buttons? This is possible on the iPhone app & I use it all the time, but I haven't found anywhere online where it tells you if this is or isn't possible from the watch app.
Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure, the Nike Running Club is such a disaster that it's hard to tell what features will and won't work. I haven't tried the music pause options, but the app still have auto-pause. However...you have to hold your wrist up so long while the app updates your distance that the run auto-pauses. It was SUPER frustrating on my 10-mile run today.

So, theoretically, if the headphone option doesn't work, the auto-pause may help you out. Best of luck!

But even the auto-pause function is terrible and doesn't work... Sometimes it doesn't pause and sometimes it pauses even though you don't and it doesn't tell you !! (missed a kilometer on my first try with it... Not going to try any time soon again)

Thanks for the replies. Looks like I"ll be sticking with my old version of the Nike app on my iPhone until some of this stuff gets sorted out.
