I just purchased this camera and after I take a picture or if I view it in my viewfinder it has the camera specs on the screen too. it'll say CAMERA: NIKON D80 METERING: MATRIX SHUTTER: 1/60 APERTURE: F5.6......etc. ANd this always display on top of the pictures. How do I remove this setting?

Removing the settings is very easy. Read the instruction book.

When your viewing the images on the display, scroll up or down with the four direction pad or by rotating the sub-command dial. This changes the display mode.

The display in the viewfinder can't be turned off though I think. The manual has more info.
