You may be right, thanks for the info. I've never shot ISO 3200, the film with the highest ISO rating I've used was 1600 (a color film I bought for my host　brother's wedding, could have been Konica, but I'm not 100 % sure).

In any case, people who don't remember the analog times don't know how ridiculous ISO 25,600 sounds!

You've got that right- I can't believe how people are complaining about noisy ISO 800, let alone 3200 or 4800!

I'd just like to reiterate that all this business about in-camera noise reduction is totally irrelevant of you shoot RAW. It doesn't seem as though everyone is clear on that point.
