There is nothing wrong. Imaging playing Zelda and Mario in 4K even if it is checkerboard on the PS4 Pro and XBOne Scorpio rather than the Nintendo Switch crappy 900p.
I do that now. Emulators baby. Get a pc, or hell even use your macbook

Nintendo is completely different from Pokémon Company. Niantic is the developer of Pokémon Go. SMH!

Yeah, Nintendo is like Apple. Both are set to unreasonably higher standards - so that if either Apple or Nintendo set record numbers for things they do (Game sales, Apple Watch sales), the numbers are used to indicate failure.

Unlike Mario Run, I saw zero advertising for Fire Emblem. Attempts to search for screenshots and video of what the game played like were fruitless. End result was zero enthusiasm for its release.

Nintendo needs to ditch hardware and go software only to succeed. I can't wait until there switch fails then they might wake up and stay with software.

"There"? The correct spelling is "their". Are you in the 1st grade?

P.S. Switch took an average of 10 minutes for all pre-orders to sell out at every major retailer.

I used to dream that my iPhone can one day be my portable Nintendo Console, and now that it has happened, I am disgusted by the reality. Mario Run, Fire Emblem, and Pokemon Go are severely limited shallow versions of their console counterparts. The only way to succeed in mobile is to use IAP and I hate it. Plus, smartphone batteries are horrible as they are, so most of the time playing games on them are not really an option for me. Apple TV isn't the gaming console I thought it might end up being either.

For years I've thought Apple should buy Nintendo, now I am glad it hasn't happened. Nintendo games has soul and it genuinely feels like the people who make them, do so with love and care. Apple's soul died with Steve Jobs, now they are just a big corporation like any other, while Nintendo's soul is forever immortalized in characters such as Link, Mario, Pikachu, Luigi, Bowser, etc...

Therefore, I'm even more confident with my preorder of the Nintendo Switch. I even bought one an extra as a gift. I sincerely hope that it becomes the most successful console ever. I'm not saying this to hate on Playstation or Xbox, but most of their games feel like graphical showcases, or movies that you play through. Need for Speed just isn't Mario Kart, if you know what I mean.
For mobile gaming, portable battery pack / charger is a must :)

Wouldn't let me pirate the in app purchases, so I uninstalled. I usually like to pirate in app purchases for f2p games to see how much I would either have to wait or spend after only a short while in the game, and pirating allows me to get to that point quicker to see if I want to actually reset and play the game or not.

Sadly they ruined it with too much DRM for me to want to play.

This is what you don't seem to understand - by wishing Nintendo would stop making hardware, you're leaving the innovation of consoles to Microsoft and Sony. What are they going to do? Prettier graphics and bigger hard drives? Woot. Might as well have a gaming PC.
What? When did I say I wanted Nintendo to quit making consoles? I simply want them to take the hardware seriously again!
Remember, this Switch is a MID-generation console! The whole reason it exists is because the WiiU was an epic disaster and so they have scrapped it halfway through the cycle so they can try again!
Why it was a disaster? Because they focused on a gimmicky controller and had no third party support, you know why? Because the WiiU was too weak to run those "prettier graphics" you brushed off!

If you're worried about "AAA" games not being ported to Nintendo consoles, then get an xbox and a switch? That's what I usually do. I pick a console that gets the "AAA" titles and a Nintendo console for variety.
Do you seriously think the average person can/does buy multiple consoles? There's a reason PS/Xbox fanboys fight with each other over which is better instead of just buying both.
Nintendo's consoles need to stop being supplemental consoles as you're implying and instead need to make them actually compete with Sony/MS. Nintendo's consoles should be able to replace a Xbox/PS as your main console just as a PS or Xbox can serve as your main console, but to do that the machine needs to be powerful/capable enough to run everything!

Yes because 1 mini game in 1 title is indicative of the quality of games on the console.
You keep complaining about that mini game. I'll be exploring this immersive world in Breath of the Wild. I'm sure this will make the console flop.

Yes, the new Mario and Zelda games look great... but I'm not buying a whole new console just for 2 game properties.
We'll see if third party developers will be able to put their blockbuster titles on the Switch too so that when you see a game trailer on TV then at the end instead of saying "available for Xbox One and PS4" it'll actually say "available for Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch".
However, if all the Switch can ever do is just Zelda, Mario and Splatoon, then yes the Switch will suffer the same fate as the WiiU and flop.

If I'm gonna carry a brick, it's gonna be that new Nintendo Switch console with proper AAA games. I'm super excited for it, cannot wait for March 3rd.

Damn, another failure for Nintendo.
Hopefully once the Switch flops just like the WiiU it replaced then maybe Nintendo will finally take the hardware in their consoles seriously, stop milking their customers and listen to what their customers want instead of putting out unknown properties like Fire Emblems...
blasphemous! the fire emblem series has a legion of dedicated super fans that could rival many other game franchises. Definitely not an unknown property
