You know you just reminded me. That is one of my all time favorite games. The other being Chrono Trigger, which has the best video game music ever by the way. And whose systems did those games come out on? Why, our favorite company that begins with an "N" :D

pessimist.

here's my take. nintendo is primarily a software company that makes consoles to sell their games. why would they not want to open a new market for themselves on the mac? apple is a computer company who's always getting knocked for being behind on the gaming front. why would they not want someone to develop games for them?

Yeah, all of that would work perfectly except for one thing: reality. I'm not a pessimist, I'm just a realist. Since I've already used logic and reason to point out why nintendo wouldn't make software for macs twice and you haven't gotten any of it (or don't want to get any of it), I'll try another approach.

If you were the CEO of Nintendo, and you're looking at possible future business opportunities, what would you do? Would you continue to produce games for the console market, which is much larger than the windows game market, growing at twice the pace (data here ) per year, or go into the mac market, a completely untested market for nintendo which may or may not be profitable and is only 5-8% of the already small windows game market? Unless things change drastically, Nintendo entering the mac games market would be corporate suicide.

Just because Apple needs games doesn't mean that a company almost twice its size will supplicate itself to Steve Job's whims. Business just doesn't work that way.

I wouldn't give a rats ass about Nintendo's consoles, wouldn't even consider buying GC if it wasn't for that dumb Capcom decision to produce Resident Evil 4 exclusive on GC.
I dunno but I really like RE series so I may get second-hand one just to play RE4 when it comes out and dump it after that.

I know what I know, and don't bother me with the facts! :D

I know there's no chance in this world or the next that this would ever happen, but come on, you gotta admit it would be neat.

CRACK, ANYONE???

Hey bro, I dunno what planet your from, but I use Logic and Reason to make music.

Can someone say: "CRACK-ROCK"?

Oh, how so soon you forget: Your not a kid anymore. They don't care about you old timers- Your day is the past.

I know it'll fly. I think it's great! Know why? Because I'm young at heart. I stay refreshed and keep an open mind. As a matter of fact, here's a list of stuff that I think Nintendo or someone should pick up-

WATCH:
The watch is used for many functions. It displays the time of the game, and it also works as a stop-watch for sports games. I would have have custom functions for each game. For instance, 007 could have a bomb detinator on the watch or something.

VOICE RECOGNIZATION HEAD-SETS & EAR PEICES:
Especially cool for Final Fantasy & RPG's for executing orders and navagating menues.

VR GLASSES:
That's right- For those time when your in the game. Like racing & Aircraft games.

I could go on for days, Cellphones, Flight NAV Systems, Etc...

Oh, one more thing-

PUT THE GUN BACK IN THE BOX:

I also think a good way to get people to play shooting-games is by throwing in a free gun with the system like when Nintendo first did. Duck Hunt sucked, but thousands of people played it.

A real HUD! And I don't know what planet you're from bro, but Duck Hunt owned! Except for that damn dog, I wish I could just shoot it!

Anybody else played duck hunt by sitting inches away from the TV with the gun actually touching the screen? It was like point and click ^_^ Nothing to be proud of I guess. It was fun anyway. Plus the gun looked soooo cool.

Anybody else remember captain N? I think he had the same gun. I remember having a crush on princess Lana

Good thing you're not in charge of a large corporation. You'd set a record for losing the most money in the shortest period of time.

But then, you'll be #1 in something right? woohoo! :D

One screen or two, dual views is a very interesting concept for nearly any game available - don't be short-sighted and dismiss it as "stupid."

For example, imagine playing a FPS game such as Quake and having a separately controlled drone camera that you can fly around corners and into dangerous areas (even through small cracks in walls) to do recon for you.

Or park it in the corner of a room and act as a hidden camera to see where your opponents are in a particular room.

Of course, your drone would be prone to being shot and killed just like any thing else.

Talk about a new dimension to these types of games.

Have some imagination.

You dolt, I was asking why not have one wide screen instead of two. Then you can use it all as one screen or just go split screen and its the same as two screens essentially.

Have some imagination.
