nMP and 23" cinema hd display

Does anyone have know if I could use the older cinema display with a new nMP. My brother has one sitting in his apartment and I thought I could use it until I figure out which display I want/apple updates the thunderbolt display. Any ideas on what connector I need.

A special cable or adapter is only needed for the older acrylic Studio Displays and the 30" Cinema Display.
