nMP and Apple Remote?

I can't seem to get Apple Remote to work on nMP. Anyone know if nMP doesn't have IR sensor?

They dropped the IR sensor from the lineup some time ago IIRC

My 2008 Mac Pro didn't have one either. I picked up an Mira IR receiver from Twisted Melon for that.
