Just wondering if any one has tried the 64GB single sticks of RAM with the nMP
Are 64 GB RAM Dimms already available and who makes them and sells them?
What speed do they have?
Micron is making them but only in very limited quantities and only at 1333mhz. The cost I got quoted was 1300USD a stick
Can't see it being a problem. Get four of them for 256GB of RAM. That's supported by the processor.
But not the OS. These are LR-DIMMs too, which will only work with E5-2600s and no one has confirmed they function on what Apple may have done with the chipset/UEFI.
