So I updated yesterday with everyone else and had no problems with connecting to cellular networks. Now today I have no 3G. The bars come up when I switch my iphone 3G to 3G but the symbol doesn't appear. So when I try and open anything requiring a internet connect no dice. But edge works just fine.. I have no clue what happened. Any help would be great. I reset the network settings, the phone settings, and tried a restore but no fixes. The only thing I hadn't tried is a full phone reset. Takes like 2 hours to do.. hopefully someone can help, so I don'r have to endure that.

No 3G after a day with 3.0

I'm having the same issue. I just got off the phone with Apple and he reported several other people have called in about it. They believe it's a problem with AT&T's network. So just have to wait for them to get their act together. Does anyone with AT&T have 3G right now?
I am on the west coast of Florida and am having the exact same issue. No 3G indicator (although good signal strength) and non data available.
I'm live in downtown Tampa, and I don't even had any Edge coverage!
I work about 18 miles away, just outside of Brandon, Florida, and Edge keeps coming in and out.
No 3G at all since last night.

Same issue here. Talked to a friend at work who didn't update to 3.0 yet and they are having the same issue. Must be an issue with AT&T
Yea I live in Tampa/Brandon too.. and I had no problem til today...

Down for me too. At least from lakeland to tampa. When i called AT&T they blamed it on apple so i don't know what's going on.

Well 3G is back up for me.. Pretty quick too... It might just be me using edge for a while tho... Thanks for all the comments.. Hope it's coming back for everyone

New 16GB White 3G and I just installed 3.0 yesterday, however I am not totally impressed with all of the updates it did take a little while to get it downloaded, installed and sync'd back to normal.
I think it was more the Registration servers then anything else, I lost 2 songs and a few Free apps, but all fixed now, just seems slower accessing certain things, but there are some improvements.
I get the new 3GS tomorrow, so I will see where all the Hype is, if the phone doesn't live up to my expectations from everything I have seen and read, I may just go back to a 3G with an 8GB version for $99 bucks bc that is too good of a deal to pass up, but if Best Buy tries to charge me a restocking fee, I will jut cancel my plan and return the phone, pay $30 and be done with AT&T and the iPhone.
We will see tomorrow how everything goes.
