What's the deal with the lack of a 4GB option? I would think this would be a no brainer for a Pro ultra portable like the air... I'm really surprised they still don't offer it.

    Wirelessly posted (iPhone: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5F136 Safari/525.20)

    Nope.
It's ok. We could eventually see it in the future. The Air is new technology I will be keeping my fingers crossed.

The MBA only uses the equivalent of one stick of RAM's chips soldered to the logic board. Seeing as 4 GB single stick of RAM, while they are beginning to be found, are not to common and are a little pricey for a MacBook Air. Expect 4 GB in the MBA when a MBP can take 8 GB.

I'm good without the additional 2GB. I know I don't need it on my MBA. I do have 8GB on my Mac Pro, b/c that's my workhorse...
