    I'm dual-booting Mac OS 10.6 and Windows 7 on a Macbook Pro.

When I'm in Mac OS X, if I navigate to my Windows partition and try to access my Windows home folder (%userprofile%, ie C:\Users\mjordan\), I see folders but no files in those folders, so I am not able to use Finder / Mac OS X to access any Windows documents saved in my Windows home directory.

I assume it's a permissions issue since I can access any other files on my Windows partition from Finder or Terminal.

I suspect this can be fixed via the Security tab in my home folder's Properties? Like add my Mac OS X user to the list or something? I've attached a screenshot of the window I'm talking about below.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, I'm more of a Mac/Linux kind of guy. Windows is scary. ;)

Thanks, but that's the other way around. I'm in Mac OS X, unable to see my Windows home directory.

Is Win7 configured to encrypt the files in your home folder?
I don't recall offhand where the encryption option is in Win7, sorry.
