No activation, no music???

    Does that mean that I have to keep the iPhone activated with a plan only just to play my ripped cd's and videos?

    I would think that you have to activate it once, and then it stays unlocked forever (even after your contract expires). But that's just my guess.

    That's good at least... still this would be the device to watch videos on!!! :cool:

    That will be good. I would hate to have an iphone paperweight honestly :)
