For some reason I'm expecting some fairly boring yet nice styling. Sort of like what you'd get if you turned a really big iPod on its side and made the whole front an LCD. But basically a rounded rectangle with white back plastics and a clear front.

I'm liking this one...although perhaps a little too close to the 'pro' range. I'm one of the few who has fallen in love with iMac and is hoping that we don't see drastic changes...I mean, it's just so dang beautiful and simple!

Some of these designs are nice, but I don't think there's any way that a G5 chip can fit into such small cases... I'll be surprised if the iMac G5 isn't the largest iMac to date by far...

Actually I quite like that!

I still prefer the old "dome" design, but that's the most attractive mockup I've seen so far.

I would think that the new iMacs would have a boxy look to them. Think about it- The g4 powerbooks are boxy, the g5s are boxy, the new displays are boxy. The iBooks are somewhat boxy. Why not the iMac?

The G3 powerbooks were rounded
The g3/g4 powermacs were rounded
The g3/g4 iMac were round
The early ibooks (toilet seat/clamshell) were round

Thats my guess.

Would the iMac g5 be white plastic, aluminum, or some new color(s)?
