The first iMac was revoloutionary in the idea behind it, the second iMac was a bit of a revoloutionary design but nothing special in the idea behind it. I think its time apple did something more revoloutionary again and less evoloutionary, even if it means bringing in a whole new line of computers to replace the iMac. I think they should be more focused on a digital hub idea, and with the ipod, airtunes, airport etc a lot of the groundwork has already been laid.

The obvious logical step for Apple at some stage is to chase the TV tuner angle. If they want true multimedia then one day they will need to put a card in the box as standard to allow reception of digital tv. This would be highly attractive to a number of subgroups like boarding students, singles in small appartments, those wanting a second TV, those wanting true digital in a tivo like format etc. It may not happen in the next year or so but eventually it will
